Booking Options define how a room can be booked, including the booking type, pricing, fees, and online settings. This guide explains how to set up and configure a new booking option.
Select Room Booking from the side navigation menu and choose Booking Options.
Click Add Booking Option to create a booking option.
3. Add the booking option name.
4. Select the type of booking:
Fixed Times – Book with specific start and end times.
Duration Based – Book for a set length of time without fixed start/end times.
5. Set pricing for the booking. If member and non-member rates are the same, enter a single shared value for both.
6. Add Additional Flat Fees (optional). These are fees applied on top of the room rental (e.g., cleaning or service charges).
7. Configure the settings for online booking:
Enable Make Available Online to offer this booking online.
Set the Payment Type, choose Full Payment or Deposit. If Deposit is selected, the Deposit Percentage field will appear.
Select Expression of Interest or Permit Self-Service Booking for the Checkout Option.
8. In the Pre-Checkout Information section:
Set the message displayed after the booking is successfully completed at Confirmation Page Additional Message area.
Add terms and conditions, policies, or other required agreement at Confirmation Page Additional Message area.
9. In the Post-Checkout Information section, provide instructions or additional information to show after the booking is confirmed.
10. Select Save to create the booking option.
